Stay a night in the wilderness

Stay a night in the jungle  : Reservation of bungalows inside the National Park

In Wilpattu National Park (Sri Lanka), you can reserve bungalows inside the park itself, operated by the Department of Wildlife Conservation (DWC).
Some well-known in-park bungalows: Mahawewa, Kokmote, Maradanmaduwa, Thalawila, Manawila, Kumbukwila
They’re rustic — no luxury frills — and you’ll need to bring your own food and a cook ( We can arrange a park cook for an extra fee). They have generators for limited power, but not 24/7 electricity.

We can reserve your bungalows with our safari package for you to explore the Wildlife at its best staying a night inside the wilderness.

Wilpattu National Park

Wilpattu National Park is Sri Lanka’s largest and one of its oldest protected areas, covering 1,317 square kilometers. 

Wilpattu offers a more tranquil, less crowded safari experience compared to Yala.

Wilpattu National Park is famous for its elusive leopards and sloth bears, but that’s just the beginning. The park’s lakes—called “villus”—are home to crocodiles, deer, wild boar, and over 200 species of birds. With our experienced guides, you’ll have the best chance to witness these incredible creatures in their natural habitat.
